Hiyan Sisson

Hiyan Sisson has more than 20 years of experience leading large multidisciplinary teams across federal, state, and commercial projects. She oversees designers, accessibility specialists, videographers, editors, and web developers, guiding complex creative and compliance workflows for agencies including NPS, USDA, HHS, VA, DOT, and DOS.
Prudhvi Mandava
Administrator and 508 Compliance Manager
DHS Trusted Tester, Guest Lecturer GW
Prudhvi Mandava has more than 10 years of experience leading accessibility compliance and remediation for federal, state, and commercial clients, including NPS, USDA, HHS, VA, and DOI. He has overseen the remediation of more than 115,000 pages of documentation. With the admin team at the 508 Institute, he leads the support and effort for client experience and governance.
Michelle Piehl
Instructor
DHS Trusted Tester, Instructor GW
Michelle Piehl developed and actively teaches an Accessibility in Digital Publishing course in the George Washington University Master of Publishing program. She also uses Adobe, InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Calibre to apply her accessibility expertise to make digital publications, such as websites, EPUBs, and PDFs, more equitable to all. In her spare time, she volunteers her accessibility knowledge to support a local nonprofit.
